The Samsung I9000 Galaxy Mobile Phone Review - Very quick user interface

The Samsung I9000 Galaxy S is another rising star of Samsung series of popular and attractive touchscreen phones. With its powerful features and up to date mobilephone technology, having this in its price range is a steal.

It has a durable 122.4 x 64.2 x 9.9 mm casing and a huge attractive 4 inch 4 Inch 16 Million Colour Super AMOLED Touch Screen displays 480 x 800 Pixels resolution! This attractive mobilephone has a 5 Megapixel Camera complete with Auto Focus, LED Flash, Geo Tagging and Smile Detection features... no flash though.

Just like today’s entire latest phone, the Samsung I9000 Galaxy S has Video Record capability, Photo Album and is capable of H263, H264, DivX and WMV playback. The camera has of course video recording capabilities and the Video Player is has H263, H264, DivX and WMV playback.

The best thing we like about the Samsung Galaxy I9000 S mobilephone is its user interface.

It is very user friendly and has a fast response making it a practical phone for a touchscreen mobilephone. When it comes to calling capabilities, the Samsung I9000 Galaxy S delivers great functionality. It generally has a good strong signal and with a Quad Band (GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900) and HSDPA (900, 1900 and 2100) frequency, what more can you ask for?

Having a lot of frequency just means that you won't have trouble with the signal even if you're between countries.

With a 13 Hours GSM Talk Time or 750 Hours GSM Standby time, you can really make use of this phone but only if you don’t use its multimedia, games etc. With all of this year’s releases, we think that the Samsung I9000 Galaxy S is one of the best.

The Samsung I9000 Galaxy S is a great phone in its own price range, if you like flashy phones with powerful features, you’re going to love this touchscreen phone.

If you like high feature phones with attractive designs, you're going to like the Samsung I9000 Galaxy S.If you want a phone for its looks and features, the Samsung I9000 Galaxy S is the perfect phone for you. Acer beTouch E110 Mobile Review

When it comes to purchasing a budget phone, oftentimes you're met with a mixed bag. On one side of the spectrum, there are plenty of basic, bare bones mobiles that only provide you with one or two features. On the other side of the spectrum are the rare budget phones that provide you with a variety of desirable goodies at prices that won't break your wallet. Most budget phones, however, tend to fall between those two extremes. The Acer BeTouch E110 is an example of one such phone. It has lots of promising features, but in the long run you're better off looking elsewhere.

Appearance:

When it comes to aesthetics, the beTouch E110 is kind of plain, to put it bluntly. Available in black or dark blue, it's a typical candy bar phone with very few distinguishing features. Its 2.8 GVGA phone looks large and impressiveĆ¢€”until you turn it on. The results are quite blurred, to the point where it may interfere with simple reading and navigation. It doesn't help that the screen is also resistive. While we've encountered resistive screens that were surprisingly yielding to the touch, this one isn't one of them. This makes everything from texting to browsing an enormously frustrating experience. Considering its name, one would think the screen would be easier to use.

With five homescreens and a selection of widgets and live apps for Twitter and Facebook, its Android 1.5 interface seems interesting at first. Unfortunately, in comparison with other Android budget phones, the interface is quite dated. Stranger still, you're also unable to reach the Android Market through the phone, making it impossible to ever add any of your favourite widgets or features to the mobile.

Sound:

The mobile's sound quality is quite decent, both for calls and for listening to music. Equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a quality music player, and an FM radio, it provides you with the basics for what you need to enjoy your tunes. Considering that the 3.5 mm headphone jack is something that's commonly missing on several more expensive phones, the presence of it here makes it a rarity indeed.

The Acer beTouch E110 is a good phone from a well known laptop company. You can go for this phone or you can get cheap iPhone deals instead.
